DOs & DON'TS

BUILD YOUR BRAND

SEE LOTS OF NEW PATIENTS

The more new patients you see, the more your referral base will grow. We have the infrastructure and teams to support high volume clinics. Be Affable & Available

Be the person that everyone wants to work with. The fewer the limitations you put on your schedules, the more your business will flourish. Always be open to emergency add-ons.

TRUST YOUR LEADERSHIP

We have qualified leaders within each department that are highly skilled at what they do. We do our best to set you up for success, so that you can focus on caring for patients.

DOCUMENTATION

;

RACE TO 100!

Every new RCTX physician is challenged to visit 100 referring providers within their first year. These visits are an important part of introducing yourself to the referral community, building personal connections, and strengthening the relationships that support your practice. Your Physician Liaison will help coordinate and support these visits along the way.

Don’t forget to document your visits!

Keeping visits documented gives us an accurate picture of referring provider outreach, helps track Physician Liaison activity, and lets us track your progress toward the 100-visit goal throughout your first year. Every conversation with a provider counts towards your goal.

DOS & DON'TS

BEST PRACTICES

Do your homework

Know who you’re visiting and understand their relationship with RCTX before you arrive.

Be accessible and timely

Make it easy for referring providers to reach you and respond when they do.

Send patients back

Keep the referring provider involved by returning patients to their care when appropriate.

Make it personal

Use HelloDoc for contact information, notes, and helpful details before reaching out.

Extend the invitation

Invite providers to upcoming CEs, dinners, and other RCTX events.

Make referrals easy

Familiarize providers with their options to refer online, by fax, or through our physician line.

Share your resources

Introduce tools like the RCTX Image Portal and patient education materials that can support their practice.

Follow up after your visit

A quick thank-you text or email helps continue the relationship.

AVOID

• Don’t discuss the referring provider’s retail items

• Don’t offer or promise free services
